ABOUT TRUESSENCE: WHY WE TALK ABOUT SEXUALITY AND SPIRITUALITY
The Truessence story started simply, with a woman named Becky Patton, who one day dared to speak openly about an intimate, and precious, area of her life. As she courageously began sharing her own journey into sexual healing and personal wholeness, she was met with a great deal of interest, a few skeptics and many questions.
One question came up consistently. How?
How did you start this journey? How can I? How is spirituality related to sexuality? How can dormant passions be awakened? How is sexuality different for single and married women? How can I heal from sexual wounds? How can I explore my sexuality in a way that is honoring to myself and others?
EVENTUALLY, THESE QUESTIONS LED TO THE FOUNDING OF TRUESSENCE.
Through Becky's vision, Truessence has become a team of women who understand the chasm that sometimes forms between a women's sexuality and her spirituality - and who are committed to nurturing the elegant interweaving of the two.
We are women of all ages, at all stages of life. We have each individually walked paths that have led to greater sexual wholeness—and we are still walking those paths today. We have all joined Becky in this venture because we feel passionately about inviting other women into the freedom and fulfillment that we have experienced.
